Cinquain Poems

Today in my school I learned about cinquain poems. My mom said I should put them on my blog, so I did.

The first one doesn't have any syllables in it.

Shelly
loving shelly
Reaching out her arms
To hug all her six kids
My mom

The next one is suppose to have a certain amount of syllables in each line. The first line has 1 syllable, second line has 3 syllables, third line has 5 syllables, fourth line has 7 syllables, and the fifth has 1 syllable. This poem is suppose to be about an animal.

Pig
Mud covered
Noncaring about looks
Eating slop out of a trough
Pig

 I hope you enjoyed!

Why I Live in The Country

This, This is why I live in the country. I took this picture from the top of our sledding hill on the side of our house.

I love this picture with the twisty road. It is also taken on our sledding hill. (Pretty, isn't it.)

This one is my favorite. I love the way the sunset is touching the side of the hill.

Allison Loves Being a Big Sister

In this picture, you can't tell that they are holding hands very well, but they are. They were walking up and down the hallway just holding each others hand. It was so cute. Once in a while Allison tries to be the best big sister she can. She will try to get Lydia dressed or pick her up. Sometimes it gets on Lydia's nerves.

Here is another picture. I thought this one was pretty cute. When ever Lydia turned around Allison would pull her hand and say "come on!"

I know this is off subject, but I just had to give you a laugh!

My Snowman

This is me and my snowman. I need a scarf, hat, and nose still, but it's pretty good. I named him Merlin.

This is Me, Grace, Sophia, and Allison with my snowman. The snowman fits right in with our family. You might notice that Grace is holding something. That is Flat Stanley. Our cousin, Lexi, sent him to us so that we could take some pictures of him with us and then send him back to her. It is for Lexi's school.

Me and Grace

This is me and my best friend (sister) Grace. I am surprised we got a nice picture together!

Usually our pictures end up like this. Tongues, bunny ears, funny faces, and CRAZY eyes.

See that guitar. Ah, that is my other best friend. Shhhhh, don't tell Grace!

Me and My Friend Lexie

A few weeks ago my friend Lexie and her little sister Madison came out to our house! it was a lot of fun! Lexie lives in a different town so I don't get to see her very often. I wish I would have gotten pictures of us playing twister. That was really fun! Madison and I were probably on the twister mat for twenty minutes!! We also played Apples To Apples. That was also really fun! Madison and I went for a quick hike before we went in to play Apples To Apples. After playing Apples To Apples we played Twister. I could not believe how fast that afternoon went by!! I guess that's what happens when you're having fun!!

Here is me and Madison, Lexie's younger sister.

Here is me and my friend, Lexie.
